'SunlitMossBridge' started off with a humble vision: to introduce authentic Neapolitan pizza to Rome. The 'Bianchi' family opened our first pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-operated shop, where we followed recipes passed down for generations.
'Marco Bianchi', our pioneer, mastered the craft of pizza-making on her Italian odyssey, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples, the birthplace of pizza. When she returned to the UK, she aspired to replicate the essence of genuine Italian pizza, upholding traditional techniques and selecting premium ingredients.
From its inception as a small 12-seat pizzeria, we've evolved into a cherished community mainstay while our pledge to excellence remains unchanged. Our daily handmade dough and wood-fired oven preparations echo tradition, as does our quest for the best ingredients.
'SunlitMossBridge' today is still in the hands of the 'Bianchi' family, with a new generation now driving our dedicated team forward. Even though we've incorporated some contemporary touches, the essence of our work endures: providing delectable, genuine pizza that unites our community.
